I was able to take my NHA national exam and pass it without much of an issue. I think the information you all have is great and helpful and many of the modules are spot on as far as skills. What is an ASHP/ACPE-accredited Pharmacy Technician program?

What do Pharmacy Technicians do?
Pharmacy Technicians help pharmacists prepare and dispense medications, manage inventory, handle insurance billing, and provide excellent customer service. In hospital or specialty pharmacies, they may also compound medications or prepare sterile products. Technicians play a key role in keeping the pharmacy running smoothly and ensuring patients get the care they need.
What types of pharmacies will this training prepare me to work in?
Graduates are prepared to work in a wide range of settings, including retail, hospital, long-term care, mail-order, and specialty pharmacies.
Is your program accredited?
Intelvio's ASHP Pharmacy Technician program is in candidate status with ASHP/ACPE. Once Intelvio receives full accreditation, any graduates or current students will receive their Certificate of Completion of the ASHP/ACPE program.

Yes. Our program is aligned with PTCB and NHA standards and will fully prepare you to sit for either exam.
Does this program meet my state's licensing or registration requirements?
Our program is in candidate status nationally, but requirements vary by state. We will help guide you through your state's specific registration or licensing process as needed.
Is the program fully online or does it include in-person components?
The Standard program is 100% online. The ASHP program includes both online coursework and in-person externship hours at a pharmacy site to ensure hands-on learning.
What is the externship and why is it required?
As part of the ASHP Pharmacy Technician program, the externship is a supervised, hands-on training experience in a real-world pharmacy setting. It allows students to apply what they've learned in class and gain valuable on-the-job experience. We work with students and our network of pharmacy partners to arrange placements that best suit your location and career goals.
What are the admission requirements?
Applicants typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and pass a background check and drug screening. Additional requirements may apply based on state regulations.
How much do the programs cost?
