What is a Clinical Medical Assistant?
Clinical Medical Assistants are important members of healthcare teams. They work alongside physicians and nurse practitioners and have hands-on interactions with patients. Some of their tasks can include assisting physicians with examinations and procedures, taking patient vital signs, maintaining patient records, and assisting patients with billing and insurance.

What are the requirements to enroll in this program?
Students are required to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No previous experience or coursework is required.
Is this program online or in-person?

What certification does this program prepare me for?
Students who complete this program will be prepared to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). The fee for this exam is included in the program tuition.
